Live Action Digital
QB White has been working as a Digital Video Editor, 3D Animator and Motion Designer for over 25 years. Having left a lucrative aviation career as a flight instructor and commercial pilot to pursue digital dinosaurs after 1993’s original Jurassic Park, he purchased a Commodore Amiga 4000 equipped with the NewTek Video Toaster and began his long, strange journey into computer graphics. The ability to add graphics to video was exciting, and this concept lead him to the idea of Live Action Digital. Since 1995, he has built his own systems for the sole purpose of running Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects and 3D Animation software with the fastest possible real-time interaction.
During his years at Live Action Digital, QB has had several opportunities to speak in front of an audience. Some of his most demanding audience demonstrations have occurred when he is involved in a jury trial as an expert witness in the court of law. While operating 3D Animation and Premiere Pro on his laptop projected to a video screen, he answers questions from attorneys on both sides while operating the software. He spoke on stage at a large courtroom techniques conference in Monterrey, CA to highlight how digital video technology was essential in releasing a young man from jail as a result of visualized forensic evidence.
Live Action Digital has produced a wide variety of video and animated content, including live event graphics for high-profile clients like NFL, MLB and FedEx. Most recently, the company has partnered with StadiumEVAC.com to produce Evacuation, Shelter-in-Place and Active-Threat Awareness videos for pro sports teams, multi-use facilities, universities and corporate buildings across the USA. All these videos are created using detailed motion design composited with live action footage.
