Catch it in Time
Roger Miller has over 40 years as a professional communicator in radio and television broadcasting, corporate communications, non-profit communications and public relations and military public relations. He has an undergraduate degree in Mass Communications – Broadcasting and a Master’s in Applied Communication.
Catch it in Time is a cancer awareness communications non-profit. This is a team of highly creative individuals with broadcasting, corporate communications, marketing, digital and social media communications, media relations, public relations and insurance backgrounds. Each individual in the company has lost friends and family to cancer and most are cancer survivors themselves. Although creative, we realize that there are tremendous stories and talents in the Colorado higher education systems that need to be heard and recognized. Catch it in Time recognizes the potential for students to exhibit their creativity and storytelling abilities in a way to reach their peers with the important message of early detection of cancer. It’s about life and what you do with it.

Cancer among young adults is detected in later stages (3 & 4) and is increasing each year. Early detection is vital for treatment and increasing survival rates. A new American Cancer Society study shows people born in 1990 and later have double the risk of colon cancer, and four times the risk of rectal cancer, than people in their parents’ generation did at the same age.
This video challenge is for post high school students to increase awareness for young adults their own age. Who better to communicate to this demographic than their peers? Prizes will be awarded at the Festival in February.
